Finger Balance Posture

Procedure:
In this asana the entire body balance rests on the fingers supported by big toe.After attaining balance in Dhanurasana slowly raise the legs upward.Slowly remove the grip from the ankle region and hold the grip with the fingers on the big toes. The legs and hands should be stretched well.Stay in this position for about 10 to 20 seconds, with normal breathing.Slowly come back to the normal position by releasing the hand-grip.Begin on your belly propped up on your forearms. Look over your dominant shoulder and bend that same knee. Reach back with the same arm, palm up and elbow slightly bent to keep the shoulder in the socket. Grab your baby toe from the toenail side and climb each toe until you can clasp onto the big toe side from the underneath grip. Take a big inhale, and on your exhale, rotate the elbow down, in, and up. Reach back with the second arm to do the same. Hug the elbows in tight around the head and press the legs back strong like you do in Bow Pose. Spread your toes and enjoy the massive amount of space in your chest. Release one arm at a time to brace the exit and take a vinyasa into Child

Position:
If it is not possible to simultaneously rotate both arms to attain the hand-to-foot position, begin in ujangasana with bent elbows. Bend one knee and hold the inner edge of the big toe. Rotate the arm to point the elbow forward. Repeat on the second side.
